🌍 The Mission

I have two upcoming trips – going back to Lebanon to work with a smaller group of startups as they complete their journey and receive funding for their ventures across Syria and Lebanon.

The first trip to Lebanon was amazing with over 25 first time entrepreneurs showing up and learning about faith and business. They were sent away to develop their market research with 12 coming back a few weeks ago for phase 2 completing their business plans. Phase 3 will be the final phase before funding where we reinforce the idea of building disciple making businesses, and develop their marketing and financial strategies. God has been working miracles in their lives under mounting pressure. 

Also, in December I will be visiting India for a Business Conference and visiting some entrepreneurs throughout the country. Much of this trip is funded already. I will be speaking at a conference utilizing some of my own tools to set up a great year, plus running a “business hackathon” to help new entrepreneurs go to market. 

🙏 How You Can Pray

Your prayers matter deeply. Would you stand with me in the following?

• ✈️ Safe travel to and from Lebanon, with divine appointments along the way

• 🛡️ Safety in-country, especially in light of Lebanon’s heightened risk profile – no less a challenge in India. 

• 🏡 Reentry into the U.S. — I am currently on a legal, temporary immigration status with travel authorization, and have sought wise and legal counsel regarding this trip. 

• 🤝 Wisdom and patience to serve the entrepreneurs well and understand their cultural and business context

• Funding partners who would give to the foundation to fund these businesses to go to market – money is provided as low interest loans. 

• 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Protection for my family while I’m away

💡 Why This Matters

Over 25 years ago, God gave me a vision to build the church in the marketplace.
I started a company in Australia called Market Hope with a dream to see business leaders rise up as ministers — right where they are.

Since moving to the U.S. in 2016, I’ve continued this mission through my coaching brand, The Forged Leader, with plans to launch a nonprofit Market Hope in 2026 which will continue to raise partnership support, and awareness for this work. As I build The Forged Leader I do so with Market Hope and reaching communities of entrepreneurs in mind. 

These aren’t just fun trips (although massively enjoyable). It’s part of a longer-held calling to disciple business leaders in cities around the world — to encourage them to be the church in the marketplace.
